Difference between Domains and Hosting

So, first thing first before starting anything, you have to think of what you want to your website about, is it eCommerce, travel, food recipes or is it just blogging site you get the idea of what I am trying to say.after that comes the most exciting part deciding on the websites name and domains, and here is the fun trick always go for the dotcom (.com) it’s a top-level domain, the reason I am telling you to go for dotcom is because it is most common and most recognized domain suffix so it is easier to get noticed, dotcom can be used by anyone so don’t run into that commercial definition crap, you can buy domain names from Godaddy and Bigrock or there is number of option to go for, but always go for the company where customer support is fast and reliable, you always have a choice to buy domain for one year or more than that, if you bought it for one year then you have to renew it before it expires, but I suggest if you are really serious about your passion and making it a career always go for two and more than two years if you have the resources to do so.

After you are done with Domain, the second part is hosting so basically web hosting is where your files are stored, think about this is if the domain name is the address of your house, and the web hosting is the actual house that addresses points to. All websites on the internet, need web hosting.

Domains and Hosting are like brothers.

When someone enters your domain name in a search engine, the domain name is rendered into the IP address of your web hosting company’s computer. This computer contains all your website’s data, and it sends these data back to the users’ browsers. Web hosting companies specialize in storing and serving websites. They offer distinct types of hosting plans to their customers. you can choose to buy hosting from the same company as you bought the domain or you can go for companies like NamecheapBluehost there are many others.
I suggest that if possible buy domain and hosting from different companies the reason behind is better tech-support, better post services, and good management
Domains and hosting are two different services. However, they work together to make websites possible. Without domain names, it will not be possible for people to find your website and without web hosting, you cannot build a website. To build a website you will need both a domain and hosting account.
